It has been a couple of days now in Japan, and I don't regret coming here at all! I have already done majority of the things I wanted to do during the days I've spent here in Japan. I was able to try takoyaki and sushi. The takoyaki here is different from the ones back in Arizona. The takoyakis in Arizona are more firm and fried, while the ones here in Japan are creamier on the inside. The sushi here was amazing! I was able to taste the freshness with each bite. Sushi in Japan is on a whole new level compared to most of the sushi places in Arizona. One amazing thing that I witnessed was that people in Japan treat their elders and mothers with high respect. We were all seated on a train and a mother carrying her child came aboard. The mother looked around and saw that all the seats were taken so she stood. However, a little afterwards, a young gentleman who was already sitting stood up, and offered his seat to her.
A recommendation that I will make to people that will be going to Japan during the summer time is to make sure to either bring a fan, a handkerchief, or an umbrella! Having all three will be even better! Temperature-wise, it is not as hot as Arizona, but the humidity makes it feels worse.
