Japan, here we come!

In a few days we leave for Japan, and I cannot be more excited! I have always been someone who enjoys traveling to different countries, and when I heard about the trip to Japan through our school I knew I had to go. I chose to participate in this trip because I enjoy learning about different cultures and love gaining new cultural experience. I have always been fascinated by other cultures and languages, and since I do not know much about their culture or cannot speak any Japanese I know that this will be a great learning experience. 

I am most excited about sightseeing,  food, and making new memories. I look forward to seeing what Japan has to offer, and am excited to take pictures of our trip. Since I love to eat, I know that I will be trying as much food as I can. I also look forward to traveling to another country and making memories with my friends and classmates! 

Something that I am concerned about is not knowing about Japanese customs. I do not want to offend anyone by saying the wrong thing. I am also concerned about getting lost. I have no sense of direction, and I know that it will be more difficult to navigate through a different country when I do not speak the language. 

I cannot wait to travel to Japan on Thursday!
